The SB-5 Rice Mill is a compact and efficient integrated rice processing machine designed to perform multiple rice milling operations within a single unit. The machine combines several processing stages including husking, separating, polishing, and cleaning to convert raw paddy rice into high-quality polished white rice. The machine operates by feeding paddy rice through a hopper into the husking chamber where rubber rollers remove the outer husk from the rice grain. The mixture of brown rice, husk, and unhulled paddy then passes through a separation system where airflow separates the husk from the heavier grains. The brown rice is subsequently directed into the polishing chamber where friction between the rice grains and the polishing cylinder removes the bran layer from the grain surface. This process produces smooth and bright polished rice suitable for commercial sale and consumption.
